Our lead technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and MR certified. In addition, all staff members have been certified in CPR and trained on AED (automatic external defibrillator).

Insurance/billing specialists are experienced in all aspects of MRI medical coverage. They will verify eligibility and coverage and will secure prior authorizations if necessary. Complete information is gathered prior to service so that we can accurately and promptly bill your insurance company. Our specialists are available to answer any insurance or billing questions you may have.
Our Provider Relations Department is responsible for servicing over 70 contracts with insurance companies, networks, managed care, and government health plans (Medicare and Medicaid). The department acts as a liaison between physicians and health care providers that refer patients to Midwest Open MRI. In an effort to maintain the highest standards, health care quality and accountability data are summarized through satisfaction surveys.
In addition to our Radiologists, a Nurse Practitioner is onsite to monitor those MRI exams that require contrast infusion. The Nurse Practitioner reviews and monitors patient status during the MRI exams, and has special training in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and is CPR certified with AED training.
